About Bianca McDermott, Ph.D.
Dr. Bianca McDermott is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and attended graduate school at Yale University in New Haven, CT, where she earned an M.S., M.Phil. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology. She conducted her dissertation while working with the Epilepsy Surgery Program at Yale New Haven Hospital and the West Haven, CT V.A. Hospital. She completed her internship and two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology at the University of California in San Diego (UCSD) and the San Diego Veterans Administration Hospital. She was on faculty at UCSD for two years and worked with the UCSD Epilepsy Surgery Program. Dr. McDermott worked as a forensic neuropsychologist with the U.S. Federal Bureau of Prisons and New Mexico State government (Departments of Health and Corrections). Most recently, Dr. McDermott worked with the 377th Medical Group at Kirtland Air Force Based where she provided services for active duty service members.
