About Vesta Sandoval, MD
Vesta Sandoval, M.D., joined Lovelace Medical Group as the Medical Director of Critical Care and Pulmonary Services at Lovelace Medical Center on Jan. 1, 2013. Dr. Sandoval directs intensive, critical care, pulmonary and respiratory therapy services.
Prior to joining Lovelace, Dr. Sandoval was with ABQ Health Partners. Dr. Sandoval has overseen services at Lovelace Medical Center’s Intensive Care Unit since 2004.
Dr. Sandoval received a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Texas at Arlington, a master’s degree in biology from the University of Houston at Clear Lake, and a medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. She completed her residency in internal medicine at the University of New Mexico (UNM) and her fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine at UNM.
