I’ve been to this practice! I love how kind the doctors are. The view isn’t bad from the 3rd story window either.

Dr. Michael Adjei-Poku is the absolute best cardiologist I have ever seen. I have seen quite a few and he tops them all. I originally saw him because I was admitted from the emergency room and during my stay he was the 2nd cardiologist that came on my team to treat me. I absolutely loved the way he listened to my concerns and explained everything to me. I know I have a bad heart as it is already but there were just certain things that he explained differently that made it seem not so bad, (like it has been the past 5 years while being able to push back heart surgery). I was seeing a different cardiologist at a different hospital (UNMH) and I asked him when I was being discharged if I could continue seeing him as a permanent cardiologist instead, and without any hesitation he said of course and scheduled me a follow up to see him in 2 weeks after that. Of course the scheduling staff didn't like that so they ended up calling me telling me that I could not see him then, he was already booked and rescheduled me for 6 months out. I called his nurse and asked to speak with him directly and when I did he said "no I'm seeing you in two weeks." And told them to figure it out but I was keeping my appointment. I have never had a Dr care as much as Dr. Poku does. He goes above and beyond with his care and it means alot. I highly recommend him if anyone is looking for a cardiologist in Albuquerque, or if you are within travel distance from Albuquerque. He is great!!

Dr Poku is one of the most attentive doctors I've been seen by! He was careful to answer all my questions, anticipate some that I hadn't asked, and never once did I feel like he was looking at his watch to see if "my time was up."

I am happy to have Dr. Michael Adjei-Poku as my new Cardiologist. His gentle disposition and direct attention to hearing what I had to say is refreshing. He is engaged and informative. He took his time with detail and suggestions and I left his office knowing I am in good hands.
