Jessica Secor, MD, FACS is a board-certified vascular surgeon at New Mexico Heart Institute.
She completed her Bachelors of Science in biomedical engineering at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. She received her Doctorate of Medicine at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio. She then went on to complete her surgical internship and residency in vascular surgery at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, Wisconsin.
Dr. Secor is trained in all aspects of vascular care, from traditional open surgical techniques to the latest in minimally invasive and endovascular procedures. She is board certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. She is a member of multiple national societies including the Society for Vascular Surgery, Society for Vascular Ultrasound, and the American College of Surgeons. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) which is a designation reserved for surgeons who have not only met the qualifications for board certification, but also for those who have passed a thorough evaluation of both professional competence and ethical fitness, and demonstrates a commitment to place the welfare of her patients above all other considerations.
Dr. Secor has special interests in the treatment of peripheral arterial disease, vein disorders and varicose veins, carotid disease and stroke prevention, abdominal aortic aneurysms, and wound care.
