Lakshmi Parvathaneni, MD is a board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist at New Mexico Heart Institute.
Dr. Parvathaneni completed both her Internship and Residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago-Christ Medical Center. She received her Cardiology Fellowship from Indiana University in Indianapolis. Dr. Parvathaneni is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography. She is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.
Dr. Parvathaneni is also member of the Women in Cardiology Section - American College of Cardiology. She has a special interest in women’s heart health and preventive cardiology.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading and watching the sunset.
Dr.Parvathaneni does an excellent examination of my health/heart needs. She listens to my concerns and questions. Her suggestions so far have kept me in very good health.

My appointment with Dr. Parvathaneni was, in a word, exceptional. It's been a long time since I waited less than 5 minutes after my appointment time to be greeted by my physician. The doctor was professional, very thorough, and had no hesitation in scheduling the appropriate follow-up procedures to help diagnose my condition. I would highly recommend her and the staff at The Heart Institute.

Just wanted to say a big thanks and let the world know how professional Dr. Nair and Dr. Hoskings were in treating my friend Belinda D. These two professionals went above and beyond to make sure everything was seen to and taken care of.
They did not leave a stone unturned. This is not the care we are used to, it almost seemed to good to be true! But it all was true! They both kept us in the loop at all times. The before surgery, during and recovery we're all to the highest standards with no shortcuts taken, super kind, friendly and most of all knowledgeable and professional!
We really appreciate you guys, we needed someone like you both to correct this overlooked critical situation. It was a miracle we all connected.
