Mary Es Anderson, M.D., FACS, is a board certified Otolaryngologist (ear, nose, and throat) specialist, and Head and Neck Surgeon. Dr. Anderson has practiced otolaryngology for more than 20 years, and is Board Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology. She practices general otolaryngology for adults and children, and treats nasal and sinus disease and allergy.
Dr. Anderson is from Houston, Texas, and completed her bachelor of arts at Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. She earned her Doctorate in Medicine at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston, where she also completed an Internship in General Surgery and a Residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck surgery. She also completed a Fellowship in Laryngology and Care of the Professional Voice at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and has been voted “Best Doctors in America” 2017-2018, “Texas Super Doctors” 2018 and 2019, “Top Otolaryngologist in Houston TX” by The International Association of Healthcare Professionals, “Top Otolaryngologist” by Women in Medicine from 2019-2023, as well as “America’s Top Physician” by the Consumer Research Council of America since 2011.
Outside of caring for patients, Dr. Anderson has a special interest in music and has been involved in singing her whole life. She has been a member of an a-cappella group, a gospel choir, a rock cover band, and a contemporary Christian worship band.
She is honored to contribute to the field of otolaryngology and takes great delight in helping to restore health to her patients.
