David May, D.O.

David May, D.O., is a board certified general and bariatric surgeon. He completed his bachelor of science in Biochemistry at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy at the West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. May completed a residency in General Surgery at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Penn. He also completed a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Bariatric and Foregut Surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Penn.

Dr. May is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He is also fluent in Spanish and French.
